Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha (Season 1)

‘Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha’,  is a refreshing love story of a widow – Megha with two kids and a bachelor – Mohan, who is a crime journalist. The story begins with Megha’s daughter Nanhi, wanting to place a matrimony ad for her mother. During the course of that journey is when Nanhi meets Mohan. It is the friendship between Nanhi and Mohan that translates into the Megha – Mohan love story. From there on the series is all about how this unusual couple fall in love and meet against all odds.

The series was hugely popular for its refreshing and unique content. It won many awards and accolades. The character Mohan – the hero, has garnered a lot of appreciation for being an out-of-the-box hero on TV. His character was extremely popular and loved. He even won the ‘ITA best actor award’. Even the newcomer, who played Megha, was much younger than her on-screen age. Yet she played her part so convincingly that she won great appreciation and even bagged the ‘ITA award for most promising new talent’. The unique depiction of a friendship between a little girl and a wayward bachelor also won hearts and has been loved by audiences young and old.

Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha tackled a serious social issue of “widow remarriage” lacing it with subtle nuances and interpersonal relationships.

The huge popularity of Season One led to a Season Two on the popular demand of the audiences. This was a rare feat for Indian television.
