While the first season was an endearing story of how a widow met a man who changed the lives of both her kids as well as her; this one is a story of hope where the imagery of a step-parent as known to us or created in stories, is given a new meaning by Mohan.

The story continues from where it was left in season one but with a 12 year leap. Mohan and Megha have been separated for 12 years after the tragedy of their lost son, Addu. Mohan, who was Nanhi’s best friend before becoming the “step-father”, is now the very bone of contention in their life.  He is held to be responsible for Addu’s loss to the family. Nanhi who brought Megha and Mohan together and wished her mother Megha would marry Mohan, regrets the same today. She hates Mohan with a vengeance. But as the story progresses it’s proven that true lovers cannot be kept apart for long.

Even though distanced, Megha and Mohan long for each other. They can’t let go of their love for each other and fate on its part brings them face to face, time and again!
